The newly released SNIA SSS Performance Test Specification (PTS) now allows true "apples-to-apples" comparison of SSD products and enables industry wide standardization of SSD Performance analysis.

Calypso provides Engineering Test Services and designs, manufactures and sells Industry Standard Test Equipment for SSD OEM and ODMs. Thrid Party product validation and design verification, commissioned product compairson testing, and sale of standardized SSD Reference Test Platforms help companies accelerate product development cycles, validate SSD designs, and shorten time-to-market.

Calypso Systems, Inc. is working to further the standardization and adoption of Solid State Storage in conjunction with industry associations and standards groups. Leading the SNIA Solid State Storage Technical Working Group, the Solid State Storage PTS rev 1.0 has been released for Enterprise and Client SSD test. Calypso's RTP/CTS is the PTS tester of record and has been used to develop and validate the PTS.
